    Documentary film on the controversial Tibetan monk and scholar Gendun Choephel and follows the journeys of this rebellious monk whose intellectual curiosity led him to challenge the ancient traditions of Old Tibet. By focusing on the people whom Gendun Choephel influenced and the land across which he travelled, the film provides a vivid antidote to the idealized, esoteric image of Tibet.     Call it Karma - Geoff Browne's new movie 'Call It Karma' about a Tibetan monk, a Rinpoche, who was sent by his Master to walk 1,000 miles across the rooftop of the world into the sacred lands of India. Six years later, he establishes a Buddhist center in Vancouver and befriends filmmaker Geoff Browne. Together, they embark on an emotional return to the Rinpoche’s village, inspiring Geoff to retell his friend’s remarkable life story.

     

    With Undivided Faith Steven Baigel's documentary that takes an in-depth look at three families and their community in the Tibetan  refugee settlement of Bir, in the northern India state of Himachal Pradesh. Steven's site also contains a large collection of photos.
